The Best Snowmobile Day Trip in Northern Maine
Camp Katahdin’s gorgeous Denney Lodge is but a two mile jaunt from the 112 connector which will take you anywhere you want to go in the state. A great way to kick off the season is to head east to Linneus, home of Grammy’s Country Inn, about a 70 miles ride.
After reaching Island Falls on Connector Trail 112, continue on ITS 83 through the picturesque Oakfield hills and ride adjacent to the sprawling, 48 turbine wind farm. Rising up 456’, they’re something to see.
